Dana Qiane Martinez and Karl Fredrick Carter were married Saturday, October 17, 2020 at St. James Methodist Church, New Orleans, LA. Minister Keith Carter, brother of the groom and Associate Minister at New Legacy Community Church, Desoto, Texas officiated the ceremony.
Dana is the daughter of the late Mr. Gregory Martinez and the late Ms. Jewel Clark of New Orleans, LA. She is a graduate of Southern University at New Orleans, Lone Star College, Houston, TX and Xavier University Preparatory High School in New Orleans, LA. Dana is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and is employed by AIG as a Financial Assistant.
Karl is the son of the late Mr. Karl Fred Carter and Mrs. Kathern Colbert Carter of Dew, TX. He is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University, Prairie View, Texas, Columbia College, Columbia, Missouri and Business Management Magnet High School Dallas, Texas. Karl is a teacher in Aldine ISD, Houston, TX.
Matrons of Honor were Ramona Moore and Latrice Williams, friends of the bride. Maid of Honor was Muslimah Mustafa, friend of the bride.
Best Man was Kristopher Carter, brother of the groom.
