Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas is hosting its annual Fall Hiring Fair from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at the Waco Convention Center.
More than 50 local businesses are expected to participate in the event, and over 1,500 job openings will be available for job seekers to explore.
Jose Palacios, manager of business and industry initiatives for Workforce Solutions, encourages attendees to dress to impress and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.
“This is a job seeker’s chance to meet face-to-face with key decision makers,” said Palacios. “Employers often interview on-site, and we have watched job seekers walk out of this event in the past with new careers.”
Job seekers are encouraged to bring printed copies of their updated resume. For more information, visit www.hotworkforce.com.
