“Our team turnout was pretty low this year, a total of 26, compared to 41 last year. Hopefully, that’s because it was our first year with International Barbeque Cookers Association (IBCA) and next year we’ll see more teams,” says Golden Circle Special Needs Associations’ Secretary/Treasurer, Shannon Margraves.

Even with the lower-than-normal number of cook teams, the Big T Memorial annual cookoff brought in more than $10,000 to help support kids with special needs.

This year’s cook off results are as follows:

-Grand Champion: East Texas Smokers

-Reserve Grand Champion: Hide-A-Way Ranch Cookers
