Mitch’s Photography has been serving Freestone County for the past several years and has now joined the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. A ribbon cutting was held on Friday, June 3, at the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce office.
Mitchell Pate started taking pictures 20 years ago as a teenager in Leon County and his passion for photography continues to grow each year. Pate has taken pictures at weddings, birthdays, quinceaneras, proms, family reunions, sporting events, and team/individual sport pictures.
He also offers family photo sessions and senior photo sessions.
Pate married the love of his life, Katy, on November 23, 2019. The couple now runs Mitch’s Photography together in Freestone County. Mitch’s Photography is also a member of the Teague Chamber of Commerce.
“Photography has been my passion for over 20 years,” Pate said. “I love capturing memories for others that will last forever.”
Mitchell teaches fifth grade math at Fairfield Intermediate and Katy works at Teague Elementary. Mitchell has his Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies K-6th Grade from Texas A&M University and his Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University.
“I’m so blessed to call Freestone County my home,” Pate said. “Everyone has been so supportive of my photography business from the very beginning.”
