It’s another busy weekend in Fairfield, Texas.
World Cleanup Day is Saturday, September 15, 2018. Come and join Fairfield Lake State Park that morning to help clean up and improve our own little corner of the planet.
They will join millions of others across the globe as they work together to achieve one goal: a clean healthy planet.

All you have to do is show up at our park up at 9:00 a.m. ready to pick up littler this Saturday, September 15th.
Wake up happy with Mimosas in the Morning on the Courthouse Square in downtown Fairfield on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
Held in conjunction with Fairfield Fest – Downtown Market, this Chamber of Commerce event invites you to visit local retailers for sales, snacks, and mimosas from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Serving up liquid sunshine will be the following:
–Thee Juice-N-Aid Café – Jamaican Mimosas
–Brenda’s Closet – Classic Orange Mimosas
–The Shops At Perido – Apple Cider Mimosas
–Armadillo Emporium – Lemon Mint Mimosas
–Kennedy’s Korner – Peach Mimosas
–Accessories, Etc. – Tea and Tidbits
Be sure to also check out the vendors set up on the Square for Fairfield Fest. Live music and food trucks will be an added attraction.
Bring the kids to enjoy two performances of “Happily,” performed by Le Theatre de Marionette Puppetry Arts Company of Dallas.
The production is a fun and interactive show that is suitable for families and children of all ages. Watch Maleficent transform into a 2-puppeteer dragon and see Princesses including Cinderalla, Belle and the Beast, Jasmine and Aladdin and others don special costuming.
Two thirty-minute performances of “Happily” are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15.
Also featured will be marionettes depicting historical Fairfield citizens. A project created by Fairfield ISD Aim students and art classes, the puppets will be available for children to interact with.

Held the third weekend of each month, Fairfield Fest has two locations in Fairfield, Texas.
The Flea Market is held at the W.L. Moody Reunion Grounds on Friday through Sunday. Hours are noon to 5:00 p.m. on Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday; and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The Downtown Market is held on the Courthouse Square on Saturdays ONLY. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
