Michael “Mike” Wayne Bybee, 63, of Aubrey, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
Mike was born on March 23, 1958 in Dallas to Ronald James and Shirley Merle (Sibley) Bybee. He owned and operated Bybee Tire in Aubrey for many years. After leaving the tire business for awhile, he received his captains license and ran a charter fishing service out of Galveston and then Panama City Beach, Florida. He eventually returned to the tire business in Texas.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Robin White and husband Steve of Aubrey, Emili Bybee of Donie; sister, Lisa Bybee-Gohlke and husband Mark of Sanger; grandchildren, Hailey Michelle White, Kyle Steven Bybee White, Colton Wayne Bybee, Dakota Lynn Allen; great grandchildren, Rhyder Steven Weaver, Keadon Bentley, Serenity Reign; niece Jordyn Ashley Conner of Spring; cousin and friend William Taylor West of Kingwood. Mike also leaves behind many other family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Sheri Caldwell, grandfather Leon Bybee and aunt Nancy West.
Mike enjoyed jeeping and his yearly Colorado trips. He enjoyed spending time at the lake and fishing with his daughter, son in law and grandchildren. Mike loved life and traveling in his RV.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, September 27, 2021 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery, Aubrey.
