I have three daughters, Vicky Donnell who live in Dallas with her husband Brade, Marsha Black, who lives in the Burleson Hill Community with her husband Martin, and their two daughters Emery and Parker. My youngest daughter Georgiana, who happened to by Miss Freestone County 2002, lives in Alpine.
I am blessed to have been raised in Teague where I am a member of the First Baptist Church where I was baptized in 1965.
My husband Marshall served on the Freestone County Fair Association as an officer throughout most of the 1980’s, and as many wives know this tends to be a family commitment.
I was fortunate to be part of the Soup Kitchen in Teague, delivering meals to citizens who are homebound in our community. I have served in the Jonathan Hardin Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution as an officer for nine years and chaired the Literacy Committee that delivered new books to community housing, Pleasant Hills Children’s Home, and the Assembly of God Backpack Ministry. I currently serve as historian for the Sterling C. Robertson Chapter, Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
I worked at Citizens National Bank for several years and later with Community National Bank for nine years.
