This will be my last report as a weather volunteer as I will be relocating in June. I began my role as a weather volunteer in December of 1993 as a co-op weather observer with The National Weather Service for 13 years. In addition to writing a weather column for the local newspapers, I also served as a weather volunteer for TV channel 8 in Dallas for 20 years, TV channel 10 Waco for 12 years and radio station KNES in Fairfield for 13 years.
I will miss doing the weather column and I will miss Fairfield after having called it home for 34 years. My wife and I and our children have decided that due to our age, it is in our best interest to relocate near a family member. Fairfield, we will truly miss you.
