As we continue building for the future, we are eager to announce our newest addition to our local team – Matt Cruz.
Born and raised in Pearland, Texas, Matt discovered Freestone County early in life. “I have family and many friends in this area, so I’ve spent a lot of time over the years all throughout Freestone County.” Following the completion of his education at both Oklahoma State and later Texas A&M University, Matt spent six successful years working in the power generation industry. While that early chapter of his career proved fruitful, he found himself looking for a more locally-focused career path that could help him realize his goal of building a life in Freestone County. Matt has now found his calling.
Following countless hours of preparation, licensing, and high intensity training, Matt has stepped into an exciting new role as a full-time local insurance agent anchoring the Freestone County office for Rollo Insurance Group. This wonderfully impactful development comes at an exciting time. Matt is passionate about engaging with the community and the way of life enjoyed by residents of Freestone County. “For me, living in Freestone County is a lot more than an opportunity. It is the realization of my dream of putting down roots, getting involved, and faithfully serving the wide-ranging needs of an entire area.”
