Marjorie McQueen, 95, of Fairfield, died Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Fairfield. Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Mahaffey Cemetery near Chester, Texas with Bro. Larry Trest officiating.
Mrs. McQueen was born February 20, 1921 in Barnum, Texas to parents Robert Andrew and Jessie Marie Tyler Mahaffey. She had been a resident of Fairfield for 16 years moving here from Chester, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Chester. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Russell McQueen in 1974; one son, Aubrey Gene McQueen; three brothers Bud, Raymond and Lloyd Mahaffey; two sisters, Virginia Hill and Bonnie Tummey.
Left to cherish her memory is a son, T. L. McQueen and wife Bertha of Fairfield; two brothers, Robert Mahaffey and Larry Mahaffey; three sisters, Patricia Miller, Frances Worsham, Barbara Ann Johnson; five grandchildren, Keith McQueen and wife Shannon, Rodney McQueen and wife Natalie, Duane McQueen and wife Kim, Marc McQueen, Brandon McQueen and wife Michelle; 10 great-grandchildren.
