The Pineywoods Home Health Care Services will sponsor a luncheon for Anderson County veterans at noon on Friday, March 8th.
The luncheon is being hosted by the Palestine Chapters of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and the Disabled America Veterans (DAV). It will be held in the DAV/VVA Hall at 927 Gardner Drive in Palestine, Texas.
In addition to a good meal, the Pineywoods Health Care representative and a Veterans Service Officer will provide information and answer questions on current veterans benefit programs, especially on claims appeals.
The DAV/VVA Hall is located behind the Mattern Tire Co. on North SH-155 in Palestine.
All veterans and family members are invited to attend.
The VVA Chapter 991 in Palestine serves veterans in Anderson, Cherokee, Freestone, Henderson, Houston and Leon Counties.
