Robertson County Extension will be hosting two cattle events this Fall.
“Managing the Beef Herd, Planning to Capture Opportunities”

The “Managing the Beef Herd” program will be held at the Camp Cooley Ranch Sale Pavilion. The GPS location is 4297 Camp Cooley Ranch Rd, Franklin, TX 77856.
One general CEU’s will be awarded to attendees with a pesticide applicator license. The $30 registration fee must be paid in advance.

We will have twenty plus Ag Industry Booths set up for the day’s activities. The booth participants will also supply door prizes that will be given away at the conclusion of the program.
Speakers will include Dr. David Anderson- Professor & Extension Livestock Economist, Dr. Ron Gill-State Livestock Specialist, Dr. Joe Pascal- State Livestock Specialist and Mr. Zachary Howard-Extension Program Specialist, Weed Science.
There will be a live demonstration, was well as discussion of cattle prices, forage weed control, nutrition, and industry marketing.
“Beef Cattle and Forage Management Seminar”

Pridgeon Community Center, Franklin, TX
The seminar will be held on Monday, October 25th at the Pridgeon Community Center located at 351 Cooks Lane in Franklin, Texas 77856. Registration for the program will begin at 7:00am.
The program will begin at 7:30am and conclude at 3:00pm.
Seven CEU’s will be available with the first five hours covering all requirements for commercial/non-commercial license holders.
Private applicator license holders will be able to obtain a total of seven CEU’s toward renewal of their license. At least 1 hour of Laws and Regulations, 1 hour of IPM and 1 hour of Drift Management will be included in the seven hours being offered.
