Justin Price, age 33 of Teague, Texas, was sentenced to 50 years in prison by District Judge Patrick Simmons after a punishment hearing for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child on Thursday morning, February 10, 2022.
Price was found guilty by a Freestone County jury in December. Serving as Defense Attorney in the case was Justin Reed.
Price has been in custody since the verdict.
“I appreciate the Court’s ruling and the punishment handed down to Price” said Freestone County Attorney Brian Evans. “The prison sentence for this crime is day for day, so Price will have to serve the entirety of the sentence with no chance for parole.”
“This is justice for the family and victim who have suffered at the hands of one man,” said County Attorney Evans.
Price is currently in the Freestone County jail awaiting transport to prison to start his sentence.
