Having trouble getting into the spirit of Christmas? Palestine Community Theatre can help when its production of “Gift of the Magi: the Musical” comes to the historic Texas Theatre, 213 W. Crawford, December 14-16 only.

This is a beautiful musical adaptation of O. Henry’s classic tale, The Gift of the Magi, and portrays the true meaning of Christmas. Questions of impropriety seize the lives of Della and Jim, the main characters, who remain faithful to each other and persevere through the toughest of times.

Friends, co-workers, bosses, and police officers are artfully woven into the story and play an important part in setting the stage and resolving the crisis. The masterful score blends beautifully with the story and adds to the majesty and magic, which ultimately reveals the true heart of this Christmas Love Story.

Special thanks to our Show Sponsor, Mary Alice Largent with Landmark Realty. The customary complimentary reception will be Friday, December 14, at 6:30 p.m. prior to curtain. Curtain time on Friday and Saturday is 7:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
