The weekly Lake Fairfield Tuesday Night Bass Tournament was held on September 11th but only one fish was weighed in.

Participation was the lowest it has been since the tournament started in May. However, there was a winner who took home the $60 pot.

Four fishermen participated in the event with Mike Mabry of Fairfield weighing in the only fish. His 4.08 pound largemouth bass earned him the $60 prize.

The weekly tournament is conducted out of the front boat ramp at Lake Fairfield. Tournament hours will now be from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm to compensate for reduced daylight hours. Registration will be taken from 5:00 pm-5:25 pm. Entry fee for the event is $15 per person with 100% of the entry fees being paid back to the winning fishermen. Payout on a field of 1-20 entries is 60% of the pot for first place and 40% for second. If 21 or more anglers participate, the pot is split 50% for first, 30% for second and 20% for third place.
