Lynda Moore
Lynda Lee Moore, resident of Fairfield, Texas, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in Waco, Texas. Lynda was born in Hillsboro, Texas on February 10, 1947, to Elmer Vaughan and Juanita Lee. Lynda is survived by her children Lonny Moore, Tammyra and Tim Sheehan from Central City, Nebraska, Taylor Moore and Kaitlyn Moore. Granddaughter Christy L. Pate, Great-grandchildren Axel Wayne Moore, and Layla Lee Moore. She is also survived by her siblings Anita Shaw, Shirley J. Vaughan, and Gary Vaughan as well as a number of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer Vaughan and Juanita Lee, and sibling Beverly Tuggle and husband Johnny Moore.
Visitation will be Monday, September 25, 2023, from 4 – 7pm at Griffin – Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield. A committal service will be held on October 6, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Dallas / Fort Worth National Cemetery.
