Funeral services for Glenn Hall, 77, will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Walter Pickens will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Dew Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hall passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Medical City in Plano, TX.
Glenn was born February 1, 1946, in Holland, Texas to Lowell Day Hall and Agnes Bruce Daniel. He spent most of his youth in the Dew area and graduated from Teague High School in 1965. In his long career as a pipeliner, Glenn worked all over the United States and world, including for the trans-Alaska Pipeline, as well as pipelines in Brazil and Thailand. Through his career, he met many lifelong friends.
In 1989, Glenn married the love of his life, Wanda Carter. The following year, they were blessed with twin girls at the age of 44, and his daughters meant the entire world to him.
Glenn strongly valued hard work and rarely sat idly. In his free time, he could be found at his house on Lake Limestone or his deer lease. He enjoyed reading westerns, telling stories, and making others laugh. However, his favorite way to spend time was with family. He was so proud of his kids and grandkids, and he never missed an opportunity to let them know that.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of Teague; stepson David Hogan of Kirvin; stepdaughter Leeann McDaniel and husband Jamie of Kirvin; daughter Lauren Rodriguez and husband David of Buffalo; daughter Morgan Smith and husband Jordan of Teague; grandchildren Ashley, Kevin, Dustin, Christopher, Ryan, Lane, Paislee, Jarrett, Selah, Silar, Ridge, and Davie; nine great-grandchildren; many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lowell Day Hall and Agnes Daniel Hall; his siblings Nell Rose Burns, Agnes Marie Hall, and Barry Trent Hall; his stepdaughter Sharon Hogan; and grandsons Bailey Hogan and Benjamin Rodriguez.
