The July Fourth holiday is being celebrated all day on Thursday in Freestone County, Texas.

Wortham
Wortham’s annual ‘4th On Main’ Parade will travel downtown on Thursday, July 4th beginning at 9:00 a.m.
There will be patriotic wagons, bikes, tractors, ATV’s, horses, floats and more.
All parade registrants should meet at the baseball fields by 8:30 a.m.
Following the parade, there will be fun, hotdogs, chips, drinks, snow cones, and water slide! Don’t forget your chairs, towels, and Patriotic Spirit!
All food and drinks are free for everyone, while supplies last.
Streetman
The 22nd Annual Streetman Lawnmower Parade will be held on Thursday, July 4th, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. The event is held in honor of the memory of Tommy J. Bryant, who began the tradition with one lawnmower and a flag.
Entries will line up on Main St. and Highway 80 at 9:30 a.m.
Children under 10 and animals must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.
A free hotdog lunch will be offered following the parade. Don’t forget your chair!
Cookie and monetary donations welcome. Volunteers are needed as well.

Donie
First Baptist Church of Donie is sponsoring a Fourth of July Community Picnic and Celebration on Thursday, July 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
There will be a cookout, waterslide, crafts and games for the kids.
Live music will be performed by Don Thornton of Fairfield, Robert McDougal of Donie, and Betty Yates of Buffalo.
The public is invited to bring their lawn chairs and join in the celebration of our nation’s birthday.

Wortham
Gates open at 2:30 p.m. for UNITE Celebration 2019 – Park on the 4th at the Oil City Park on Highway 27 in Wortham, Texas.
This is a fun-filled event for the entire family, and a safe way to spend your holiday.
There will be Live Music, Food / Sno-Cones, Speaker, Vendors, and Bounce House.
Enjoy Horseshoes and Washers, Can jam, as well as pickup games of Slow Pitch Softball, Flag Football, and Volleyball.
The day will end with a Fireworks Show.
Parking will fill up fast, so come early. Roadside parking is not allowed.
Fairfield
The City of Fairfield will host their annual Fireworks at the Fairgrounds beginning at dark on Thursday, July 4th.
Prior to the show, children’s activities and food vendors will be set up under the pavilion.

Richland Chambers Reservoir
A thirty-minute Fireworks Show will begin around 9:00 p.m. at Fisherman’s Point Marina, located at 230 FM 416.
The facility use fee for all-day access is $5 for adults and $2 for kids.
