Lone Star Ag Credit today announced the results of its annual board elections.

Cody Hughes of Nolan County and Asa G. Langford of Lampasas County were reelected to the rural lending cooperative’s board of directors. Stacey Schumacher of Cooke County was newly elected to the board.

All three directors will serve three-year terms.

“Our board of directors plays a key role in the governance of the cooperative, representing the interests of their fellow customer-owners,” said Joe Hayman, Lone Star Ag Credit chief executive officer. “We look forward to continuing strong operational performance as we focus on financing Texas, outside the city limits.”

The following stockholders were elected to the 2022 Nominating Committee. Representing Lone Star’s eight regions are Melissa Sue Coker, Region 1; Dean Whitlock, Region 2; Keith Miller, Region 3; Mark Nation, Region 4; Cody Grayson, Region 5; Travis Meissner, Region 6; David Groschke, Region 7; and Brad Williams, Region 8.

The Lone Star Ag Credit 12-member board also includes Chairman David Harris of Cleburne, Vice Chairman Brent Neuhaus of Waco, Robert Eubanks Sr. of Teague, Matt Carter of Fort Worth, David Conrad of Round Rock, Josh Drews of Marlin, Chad Lee of Fort Worth, Tina Murphy of Dekalb and Bert Pruett of Slidell.
