The Cast and Crew of Palestine Community Theatre’s Summer Production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid are hard at work preparing a sensational show for you. A host of PCT veterans and newcomers alike will hit the stage of our historic home, the Texas Theatre, in downtown Palestine, July 22-24 and 29-31.
With over 70 cast and crew members, every inch of stage and floor is filled with entertaining and colorful characters, so come out and support the Arts in East Texas and your friends and neighbors as they entertain you. Thanks to show sponsors Dr. and Mrs. Michael Wilkinson and Joseph Wilkinson, Esq., scenic sponsor Ellen Weber, DDS, and many contributions from community members and businesses, PCT is able to bring you this well-known story of mermaid princess, Ariel, and her quest to join the “world above.” Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories and the classic animated film you all know and love, PCT’s production of The Little Mermaid is one to be enjoyed by the entire family.
Tickets, which are $17 for adults and $12 for students 18 and under, are available in advance at www.PCTBoxoffice.com or, if seating is still available, at the door before each performance. There will be a complimentary reception for opening night, Friday, July 22, starting at 6:30 PM. Performances will begin Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM at 213 W. Crawford.
