One Amazing Month missed last week, ‘Library Lovers Month’, and I apologize for that.

Making time to go to the library is important, and I do hope you find some time to visit.

Libraries are wonderful for all ages, and most tend to have a special time weekly for children.

Make sure you check out your local library, there are two in Freestone County.

Do not forget that all the different schools have their very own libraries.

One in Fairfield and one in Teague, both are impressive buildings full of warmth and books.

Moving onto this week, and combining last week a little bit, is Bake for Family Fun Month.

This is all about carving time out of your life to spend time with family, while baking.

Whatever your family enjoys eating, can turn into a fun-filled time just being together.

Head on over to your local library to check out a recipe book, and discover what is your families absolute favorite to make together.

Pizza is a great beginner’s choice; you can make your own dough or buy it.

Buy the sauce and toppings too. Everyone can add their own toppings just how they like their pizza.

Bonus is that this is great for children of almost all ages.

What better way to keep passing down a family recipe than everyone getting in the kitchen and learning the recipe together.

Likewise, you can make sugar cookies, and decorate them.

For a bigger challenge, you can learn how to make dishes that are more exciting, maybe make your very own ramen.

Perhaps you have a baking board on Pintrest you have wanted to tackle, a new cookbook you received for Christmas, or something you saw on social media.

Regardless where the recipe comes from, get to making delicious food.

Baking is inexpensive for the most part, and you can even share food with others.

Moreover, Valentine’s Day is this week. You can bake cupcakes with icing and sprinkles, or a heart shaped cake for a beloved family member.

The choices are unlimited, be creative. Try out the vegan recipes that someone thought you would just love.

What matters most, is spending time with your family while baking.
