The Angelic Hosts came for Lewis “Mr. Man” “Big Lou” Randle in the early morning of Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Mile Marker 188, of I45 in Teague, Texas.
Viewing was at the Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 21 with a Vigil Service from attended by the family. Funeral Services were held Thursday, December 22 at in the First Baptist Church, 209 N. 6th Ave, Downtown Teague. Officiating was Elder Frederick Miles and Bro. Cleo Phillips. Interment was in the Grove Island Cemetery, Teague.
Lewis was the 5th child born to Mary Lou Randle and Lewis Joe Johnson on June 16, 1959 in Teague, Texas. He completed his public school education in the Teague Public School System.
Mr. Randle was a faithful brother in the West Side Church of Christ in Teague and served the church as Song Leader.
His career took him to employment with the Coca Cola Bottling Co. in Houston, the Burlington Northern Railroad, and to his retirement from The Texas Department Of Criminal Justice after 19 years, 7 months, and 1 day of service. He had a passion for Food Service, and a FOOD TRUCK that featured barbeque and other specialties.
He was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan, and followed the team passionately. His children and especially his grandchildren were his heart.
“Mr. Man” was preceded in death by: His father: Joe Lewis Johnson, Sr., His Brothers: Clyde W. Miles, Sam Johnson, and Willie Randle; Sisters: Carolyn Jameson, Mercy Jo Johnson, and Beverly Pool.
Those left to cherish his memory most are: Mother: Mary Lou Randle, Teague; His son: Chris Wright and wife, Tequila, Teague; Daughters: Tamara Randle and LeAndra Randle both of Waco; Brothers: Lewis Johnson, Jr., L.A. Calif; Danny Johnson and wife, Dorothy, Mexia; Albert Randle and wife, Latrica, Frisco, TX; Sisters: Wanda Ruth Rice, and husband, Edward, Teague; Ruth Johnson, Teague; Mary Alice Johnson, Redland, CA; and Melvia Johnson, Teague; 10 Grandchildren; Aunts: Momma Mae Johnson and Jesse Mae Cross; A special friend: Donna Ford; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
