Three Leon County Sheriff’s Deputies were indicted after Texas Rangers said they broke the law.
Leon County Sheriff Kevin Ellis said he turned the case over to the Texas Rangers as soon as he learned his deputies were involved with the misuse of official information.
Deputies Christian Negron, Dustin Bresko, and Brandon Monk were indicted Friday afternoon, March 10, 2017.
The men are accused of sending sensitive information to Normangee Police Officer Matthew Cowan, who is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office for assault.
All three deputies were initially placed on suspension with pay. As of March 10th, when Texas Rangers presented the case to a Leon County District Court, all three deputies were terminated.
