Landon Gebhard, 17, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017. Memorial services were held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Mondoe Davis of Gateway Church in Ft. Worth officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Donohoo, Jax Donohoo, Jared Ivey, Cody Ferguson, Johnny Perez, Dalton Johnson, Tyler Johnson and Austin Brogden.
Landon, a junior at Fairfield High School was born September 28, 2000 in Bedford, Texas. He had been a resident of Fairfield since his freshman year at Fairfield High School in 2015. In school Landon was active in track and until this year football and had recently completed a mission trip to Africa.
He was extremely knowledgeable regarding automobiles and all military matters. He was well known for being funny, witty but mostly intelligent. He was a member of Gateway Church in Ft. Worth. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Gary Lance Gebhard.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Natalie Diane Gebhard of Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Addison Beane-Alfano and husband Nicholas of Charleston; two brothers, Holden and Cooper Gebhard of Charleston; co-parents, Todd and April Donohoo of Fairfield; extended siblings, Tyler Donohoo and wife Samantha; Alexis Ivey and husband Jared; Jax Donohoo; Victoria Donohoo; Tuf Donohoo; Curtis Baptiste; grandparents, Vivian Gebhard of Fairfield; Dennis and Kathie Donohoo of Streetman; great-grandmother, Anna Robertson of Amarillo, TX; an aunt, Tiffany Johnson of Charleston along with other aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
