The Teague Lady Lions split their pool games in the opening days of the Fairfield Invitational Basketball Tournament. They played in the consolation round and lost to Neches 56-26 and defeated Mexia 37-26. The Lady Lions built a 20-7 lead and made it hold up in the consolation win.
Mexia split their pool games, defeating China Spring 46-36 and falling to Neches 55-27. Madisonville defeated the Ladycats 52-36 in the Consolation round before facing Teague to conclude the tournament.
