Early last week, Wortham defeated Mart to earn their sixth consecutive District Title. The Lady Bulldogs won in three to finish up district: 25-11; 25-18; and 25-9

The Wortham Lady Bulldogs finished up district undefeated by defeating the Mart Lady Panthers.
Samantha Wright had 10 kills and 4 digs.
Skylar Phillips had 7 kills and 9 digs.
Rylee Goolsby had 6 kills, 2 blocks and one ace.
Jessica Black had 4 kills and 1 dig.
Brynn Bowden had 2 kills, 7 digs and two aces.
Setter Reagan Stuver had 24 assists and 5 digs.
Libero Megan Whaley had 10 digs.
Wortham had a playoff warm up game against the 10th ranking 3A Scurry Rosser. Wortham defeated Scurry Rosser in three: 27-25; 25-18; and 25-20.
Overall Record 32-11
Skylar Phillips led the Lady Bulldogs with 10 kills, 11 digs, and one assist.
Rylee Goolsby had 9 kills, 2 block, and 3 digs.
Samantha Wright had 7 kills and 5 digs.
Jessica Black had 5 kills, 1 block and 1 dig.
Brynn Bowden had one kill and 5 digs.
Setter Reagan Stuver had 27 assists, 10 digs and two aces. Libero Megan Whaley led the defense with 18 digs, 2 assists, and one ace.
The Lady Bulldogs will have their Bi-District match on Monday, November 4th in Axtell at 6:00. We will not know until Saturday who the team will be.
There is a three way tie for the third and fourth place team. Wortham will play the fourth place team.
