The 2016 Varsity Volleyball Lady Dawgs team is lead by Coach DeAnna Whaley.
Meet the 10-member team…
Seniors
–Cassidy Harris, 17, playing libero, will don the No. 2 jersey this year.
She is the daughter of Victoria and Cory Harris.
Cassidy says “Volleyball is life!”
She has been playing the sport for four years.
–Making the lineup in Jersey No. 4, Brianna (Bri) Samuels is a middle back and defensive specialist.
The 17-year-old is the daughter of Subrenna and Tim Samuels.
She has played volleyball for four years.
–Wearing jersey No. 5 is Ashley Sandifer, playing in the middle front position.
Ashley is the 17-year-old daughter of Roxanne and Bill Sandifer.
This is her second year playing high school volleyball.
–Kate Vogel will wear the No. 12 jersey again this year as an outside hitter and defensive specialist.
Daughter of Jennifer and Kent Vogel, Kate, 17, has been playing volleyball for four years.
Juniors
–In her third year of high school volleyball, Darcy Taylor can be seen wearing No. 3 on the court in the position of setter.
Darcy is the 16-year-old daughter of Michelle and Jr. McLelland.
–Sterling Gentry, 16, will don the No. 7 jersey this year.
She is the daughter of Angie and David Gentry; and she likes chicken.
–No. 11 outside hitter and middle position, Kayla Ashlee Lansford, 16, is in her third year of playing high school volleyball.
She is the daughter of Jennifer and Tracy Lansford.
Sophomore
–Hallie Fautt, 15, will don the No. 1 jersey as a defensive specialist during her second year playing volleyball.
She is the daughter of Mike Fautt.
–Playing setter and right side hitter is 15-year-old Jayde Hamilton in the No. 9 jersey.
Jayde is in her second year of volleyball; and is the daughter of Dorothy and David Bates.
–Ashley Mao, 15, can be found on the court wearing No. 10 as middle blocker and hitter during her second year of high school volleyball.
She is the daughter of Linda and Ricky Mao.
