To say the 3rd Annual Scrambling for Scholarships was a success, would be an understatement!

This year we broke our record with a total of TWENTY-FIVE teams in the scramble!

When we see community participation like this, we are reminded that y’all love this foundation as much as we do.

Due to the continuing success of this event, this year we have raised the scholarship amount to $1,000 for each recipient. Three counties, eleven schools, and eleven seniors will benefit because of y’all!

Texas Farm Credit of Fairfield was our title sponsor this year and because of them we were able to upgrade the prizes and goodie bags for our golfers. Heritage Title & Abstract sponsored switch blade divot tools and ball markers and Taylor German, Realtor sponsored custom golf balls. The Old Gin sponsored the beverages to keep our players hydrated and AAAA Absolute A.C. and Construction sponsored custom dominoes for our 42 winners. We had over 30 individuals and businesses as hole sponsors on the course, just awesome. We are so grateful to our generous sponsors!

As always, Rachel Anne Photography volunteered her time and skills to get pictures of our golfers on and off the course. Many of Case’s friends and local youth volunteered for multiple jobs throughout the day to keep things running smoothly. We’ve been blessed with our A Team of repeat volunteers and a few new ones who took over registration and all of the behind-the-scenes tasks that made our event run like a well-oiled machine! We could not put on these events without our friends of the foundation.

Now let’s talk winners!

Taking first place was Taylor Paul, Jackie Dillon, Scott Dillon , and Jeremy Little.

The Taylor German Team finished second with Garrett German Caleb Scires, Blake Posey, and Jake Searcy.

Rounding out the top three was Mitch York, Hunter Alford, Hayden Hill, and Erick Butler.

Becky Mabry took the women’s longest drive and Clay McGill took the men’s.

Closest to the Pin went to Noah Mireles.

After awards and lunch we got going with some dominoes!

Matt Bonner and John Regian won the 42 Tournament. Ricky Lopez and Jay Jeffress took second.

Matt has been instrumental in organizing and coordinating the 42 tournament for us!

We want to thank everyone who played, volunteered, donated, and spread the word!

Jackie and the gang at Tri-County Golf Club are a dream to work with and make all of our plans a reality.

Our board is now busy making final selections for scholarships. We are looking forward to all of the senior awards ceremonies and planning our Sporting Clays Shoot this fall!
