County Fair time is coming up, and with it, the passing of the crowns for local beauty queens.
The 2018 Miss Freestone County Scholarship Pageant will include new age divisions: Teens 13 to 16 years old, and Miss 17 to 23 years old.
Those joining the contest must include a $100 entry fee.
For the younger ladies (ages 2 to 12), entry fee is $65 per entrant.
Applications are available at The Edge Dance Studio and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce office.
Kickoff Party for the all three divisions will be on April 29th at The Edge Dance Studio.
Final Meeting will be Sunday, May 27th (all paperwork due). Pictures for the newspaper will be taken at this time.
Pageant rehearsal will be on June 3rd at Fairfield High School Auditorium. The little girls will meet at 3:00 p.m.; the Teen and Miss contestants will meet at 4:30 p.m.
Pageant for the 2 to 12 years will be held Saturday, June 9th. The Teen and Miss competitions will be held during County Fair week on Tuesday, June 12th
County Fair Parade lineup is at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11th.
