Tax Aide will again provide free federal income tax preparation services to area residents every other Thursday, starting Feb 3rd to April 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., by appointment only, at First United Methodist Church.
Please call 903-389-2225 or 903-480-0052 to schedule an appointment. With new tax laws and a stimulus payment in early 2021, there are additional reasons to file this year to make sure you get the full benefit from these changes.
Interested area residents should bring their tax paperwork (W-2s, 1099’s for income, social security statements, self- employment details, deduction details, advance child tax credit form, economic impact (stimulus) payment form), picture ID for taxpayer and spouse, and social security cards for all family members, and previous years return if available. The tax returns will be prepared while you wait in your vehicle and then efiled.
