IH 45 NB ENTRANCE N OF US 84 CLOSED

Closure is permanent.

Effective October 21, 2024, the IH 45 Northbound Entrance north of US 84 is scheduled to be permanently closed. Motorists wishing to access IH 45 Northbound will need to continue along the IH 45 East Frontage Road and utilize the IH 45 Northbound Entrance to the north of FM 27. This closure is needed in to construct the new IH 45 Exit to FM 27/EXIT 198.

This work is part of the $36,901,732.19 IH 45 Frontage Road project is contracted to A.L. Helmcamp, Inc. This entire project is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2027.
