The Kindness from Case Memorial Foundation hosted the First Annual Kindness from Case Clay Shoot this past Saturday, August 31st, 2019.
The event was a major success, and funds will help to expand their reach in the upcoming year, this year they will happily be using Anti Poverty Nonprofit services.
The community made an amazing show of support, not just by participating, but also by volunteering. “Everyone came out of the woodworks to support the family and the Foundation,” said Olivia Robinson.
The City of Fairfield donated use of the Big Tent, and River of Life, Pastors Robert and Lissa Smith, along with congregation members made sure the Big Tent was up securely, and then taken back down again.
A special thank you to Long Industries for sponsoring the Kick-Off Party on Friday evening. They cooked and provided food for 200 people and sponsored live music by Lanky Moore.
During the event, there was no shortage of helpers including, but not limited to: Boy Scouts, girls who were described as ‘rock stars’, Caney Creek Employee, friends of Case, and so many others from around the community.
