Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas honored Hoover Treated Wood Products of Fairfield, as the Employer of Excellence for Freestone County. The company received the award during the Annual Awards of Excellence banquet on January 16, 2025, at the Baylor Club in Waco, Texas.
Hoover’s newly constructed facility in Fairfield’s industrial park produces pressure-impregnated, kiln-dried, fire-retardant lumber and plywood. This operation has created well-paying skilled and entry-level jobs, strengthening the local economy.
