The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution features a calendar every year. For the first time ever, they asked members to submit a tablescape picture to be focused for one of the months in 2025. Of the hundreds that were submitted, across the United States, the tablescape that Patricia Tate and several other Jonathan Hardin DAR and History Club members created for the last Fairfield History Club cookbook was selected.

The cookbook was created as a fundraiser for the preservation of the Moody-Bradley House which is one of the National Society’s main focal points, preservation of history. After the selections were made, DAR sent a photographer to go to each location across the United States.

Photographer, Hannele Lahti, from the Washington DC area, came to the Moody-Bradley House and took photos of the recreated tablescape. Pamela Rouse Wright, the President General, approved the pictures by internet.

Both organizations hope that the month of March will be selected for the photo as the Fairfield History Club will be celebrating 100 years in March of 2025, and the Jonathan Hardin Chapter had its 100-year celebration in March of 2022.
