IT WAS AN AVERAGE AFTERNOON at the Iron Horse Salon in downtown Teague, until owner Julie Atchley was interrupted by a loud bang outside her front door. High winds toppled a roadside sign onto Main Street.
Mrs. Atchley promptly notified the City, and TxDOT repair crews were on the scene soon after.
A big thank you to City Administrator/Secretary Theresa Prasil, and Thais McAnally for moving the sign out of the roadway!
