Tau Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was organized on January 17, 1931, with 12 charter members, and the members met to observe their 94th Birthday Celebration on January 13th, at Gibbs Library in Mexia.
The society promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education in Freestone and Limestone Counties.
