Proudly waving the Star-Spangled Banner (at top) is this little tyle during the patriotic rodeo parade last week in downtown Teague, Texas that kicked off three nights of exciting performances.

Parades and celebrations were held throughout Freestone County in celebration of the 4th of July holiday.

Teague Chamber of Commerce served up some delicious hotdogs and hamburgers prior to the parade.

 

Streetman Lawnmower Parade

CELEBRATING THE JULY 4th holiday with their annual Lawnmower Parade are residents of Streetman, Texas.

The patriotic parade included many lawnmowers, of course, as well as bicycles, ATVs, wagons, and other unique forms of transportation.

Winning Most Creative was the Elliott family.

Most Patriotic were Larry and Verita Davis.

Lakewood Bicycle Parade

CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY together on Saturday, July 6, 2024, are residents of the Lakewood Subdivision in Fairfield.

Many neighborhood kids paraded around with their decorated bicycles and go-karts to show off their patriotism.

Most Creative went to Faith Williamson and Most Patriotic went to Brandtly McDonald.

Judging was conducted by Mr. & Mrs. Dotson.
