The bells will be ringing this Sunday morning at Calvary Baptist Church as the hand bell choir performs during the morning worship service.

Under the direction of Education and Music Minister Shelby Race, the group will perform ‘Do You Hear What I Hear’, ‘Sing We Now of Christmas’ and ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’.

“This is a wonderful presentation we look forward to every year when we can hear the many different bells bring the sounds of Christmas carols to life,” stated Calvary pastor Terry Skinner. “These ladies practice for several months prior to these performances and their hard work always yields a blessing to those in attendance.”

The choir members this year are Kimberly White, Emma White, Avery Thaler, Savannah Ellis, Lori Harris, Kelly Rangel, Randi Skinner, Sara Wren, Lanette Burns, Janice McCalman, Susie Lane and Melinda Black. Youth Minister Devin DiGuilio will accompany the group on piano.

“The morning worship service will begin at 10:45 am and everyone from the community and surrounding area are invited to attend this special presentation of Calvary’s hand bell choir”, director Shelby Race added.
