Going Ballistic Fundraiser Planned July 15th at Lake Richland Chambers

Join Going Ballistic for a Fundraising event on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Lake Richland Chambers. There will be Food, Fun and Fireworks.
Featured guests will be Texas Advocate – Lt. Col. Allen West and Gold Star Wife and author – Barb Allen, with performances by Rick Huckaby.

One night of camping, and fishing access, will be included in the $50 General Admission.

No hook-ups or gear. Address available upon ticket purchase.

This event is pet friendly.

Hosts are Donna Carter – President and Founder of Going Ballistic, and Matt Cawthon – Vice-President and Texas Ranger (retired).

Going Ballistic is a 501-C-3 non-profit organization that has been established with the intent to provide law enforcement in Texas with ballistic shields.

These shields, along with the accompanying training, help local law enforcement professionals meet the ever-demanding job of police work while protecting them from the dangers of an active shooter or similar threat.

Earlier this year, in February, the organization donated its very first ballistic shield to the Freestone County Sheriff’s Department.

“We’re excited to get involved with more rural law enforcement agencies who don’t have the funding to acquire ballistic protective equipment for their officers,” says Donna Carter of Going Ballistic.

During the July 15th event, a live auction will be held for the following:

–Texas Helicopter Hog Hunt

–7-Day African Safari for 2

–Argentina Dove Hunt for 4

Proceeds raised during the event will benefit our First Responders with vital equipment.
