Downtown is the place to be this Wednesday, October 30th with Fairfield’s annual BOO! On The Square!
The fun will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Freestone County Courthouse Square.
Kids can enjoy face painting, games, and tons of candy, and The ‘Times’ will be on hand taking pictures of all the great costumes again this year.
Look for pictures next week in the November 6, 2024, edition.
Several booths will be planted around the courthouse lawn.

Thursday, October 31st
–First Annual Trunk or Treat, Costume Contest, and Pet Costume Contest, all at Freedom of Fairfield.
Stop by from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with your child, 12-years-old and younger, and/or pet, dressed in their Halloween costumes to enter. Pet entry photos may also be sent via text to 903-388-0720.
First, Second, and Third Places will receive a prize. Winner will be announced via Facebook on November 1st. Must pick up prize at Freedom Dodge, located at 350 E. I-45 Service Road in Fairfield. They may be reached by calling 903-644-9500.
–Teague Elementary is having a Trunk or Treat from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Bring your students by the front parking lot of TES to collect some candy from local businesses, organizations, and families.
— Fairview Healthcare invites the community to their family friendly Truck or Treat beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the nursing home, located at 601 E. Reunion Street in Fairfield.
Bring your kids and their friends, dressed in their costumes, for candy, cocoa, and lots of fun!
–City of Teague’s door-to-door Trick or Treating will be from 5:30 – 8:30, as set by Teague Police Department.
–City of Fairfield’s door-to-door Trick or Treating.
–City of Wortham’s door-to-door Trick or Treating, suggested time is 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
