Time is drawing near for the 24TH ANNUAL SHOW OF WHEELS event.
Come out and enjoy classic cars, trucks and motorcycles on the Freestone County Courthouse Square on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
Presented by the City of Fairfield and Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, this two-day event features over 30 judged classes and numerous specialty awards.
Register early for only $20 per vehicle. After September 1st, cost will be $25.

Entries will be parked around the Courthouse Square on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for event goers. There will be food, vendors, cold drinks, clean restrooms, and plenty of shade.
Also displaying their best will be members of the Bi-Stone Antique Tractor Club.
For those in town on Friday, there is a new event especially for kids: KIDS STYLE BICYCLE CRUISE!
Decorate you bikes and join us for some fun at the Freestone County Courthouse Square on Friday evening, September 9th.
Registration starts at 5:30 p.m.; Parade starts at 6:00 p.m.
Hot dogs, chips, drink, and popcorn with be available (first come, first served) while enjoying music by DJ Theresa Farris.
Prizes will be awarded for Best In Show.

This is Homecoming week for Fairfield High School.
Come out and join the Texas 99 Fairfield Eagle HOMECOMING CRUISE NIGHT on Friday following the football game (approximately 10:30 p.m.) from Lyle Oil to Boyd Plaza. When you see the Texas 99 Jeep, “honk” for your chance at FREE prizes! Polish and spit shine those rides – come cruise with us just like the old days!
In coordination with the Show of Wheels event, the LADIES POKER STROLL will be held Saturday, September 10th.
Shop local retailers for sales and a chance to win some prizes.

Fairfield’s CITY-WIDE GARAGE SALE will also be taking place on Saturday, September 10th. Look for the map that week in the Freestone County Times newspaper.
Cost is $10 to get your location on the map. Stop by the Chamber office at 900 W. Commerce St. Or, give them a call at 903-389-5792.
Deadline is Friday, August 26th at 4:00 p.m. to get on this year’s Garage Sale Map.
You can also contact the Chamber if you would like to be a VENDOR at the Show of Wheels event.
Be prepared to set up on the square by 8:00 a.m. (if you arrive later, roads will be blocked to pull in and unload).
A variety of merchandise is welcome.
Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is in full planning mode and is getting ready to prepare their Car Show Swag Bags!
