Graveside services for Geraldine “Sister” Clark, 63, will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Dew Cemetery in Dew. Rev. Richard Gillet will officiate.
There will not be a visitation.
Ms. Clark passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at her residence in Lanely.
Geraldine McAdams Clark was born on May 3, 1960 in Teague to parents Francis Allen and Gerald McAdams. She grew up in Dew and has lived there for over forty years. Ms. Clark loved the outdoors, arts and crafts, decorating, collecting trinkets, and going to flea markets. She also loved to travel and she was a very good cook.
Ms. Clark is survived by her person, Rodney Clark of Lanely; her step-father, Chuck Blakely of Palestine; four children, K. J. Freeman & wife Laura of Warren, TX, Krystal Freeman of Kentucky, Ashley Hanzelka & husband John of Streetman, Kc Lane & special friend Ed of Palestine; ten grandchildren, Jonathan Butaud & wife Kasey, Amy Yelverton & husband Jarrod, Karli Kirk & husband Auston, Kayden Moore, Abby Hanzelka, Zack Hanzelka, Emily Hanzelka, J. D. Hanzelka, Phoebe Hanzelka, Laila Hanzelka; numerous great-grandchildren; her sister, Kathi McAdams; and her brother, Stevie McAdams.
She was preceded in death by one son, Karson Joe Bell; her mother, Francis Blakely; her father, Gerald McAdams; and one brother, Donnie McAdams.
