On August 27th, the Freestone County Game Management Association, with the help of several Game Wardens, put on a Hunters Education class.
There were 65 participants in the class of which 45 were minors. FCGMA paid for all of the minors of the county to take the class and provided lunch for all. The FCGMA will also pay for the minors hunting license this year.
This is the second year the FCGMA has sponsored this class and hunting license for the youth of the county. The FCGMA is proud to be able to put on events like this throughout the year to help Freestone County.
Please make plans to attend this year’s annual FCGMA banquet on September 24th at the Fairfield VFW.
There will be many high quality guns for all ages that attend and many other hunting related items, and various other items to win.
All the money raised will go back to helping Game Management, Youth of the County, and Peace Officers of the County.
We look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s event
Thanks, FCGMA
