A felony arrest was made in Teague this weekend with the assistance of several law enforcement departments.

Saturday morning, March 29, 2025, at around 8:30 – 9:00 am the FCSO executed a Narcotics Search Warrant in the city limits of Teague.

This search warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation by the FCSO.

Upon executing the search warrant, a male subject was taken into custody for a known active felony warrant for Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).

During the search of the residence, the male subject was found to be in possession of over 20 grams of Methamphetamine that was packaged in separate bags as well as a handgun.

The suspect was confirmed to be a convicted felon that is not lawfully allowed to possess firearms.

The male subject was arrested and charged with the following:

1 – Manufacturing/Delivery Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, over 4 grams, less than 200 grams (Felony 1)

2 – Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon (Felony 3)

3 – Warrant: Manufacturing/Delivery Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, over 1 gram, less than 4 grams (Felony 2)

The FCSO was assisted by Teague PD, Wortham PD, Pct 2 Constable’s Office, Texas DPS, and the Freestone County District Attorney’s Office.
