School is letting out this week and Freestone County Fair week is coming up.
With that in mind, the City of Fairfield and Fairfield Police Department would like to remind everyone that the Curfew Ordinance of Minors is still in effect.
The hours for the curfew are 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Sundays thru Thursdays, and 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
During these hours, minors (17 years or younger) must be accompanied by a parent, or by a person 21 years or older with written permission of a parent, within the city limits of Fairfield, Texas.
This Curfew Ordinance went into effect on April 1, 2021.
