On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, multiple units from FCSO, Teague PD, and Pct 3 Constable’s Office, executed a search and arrest warrant at a residence in Teague. The search and arrest warrant was the result of an investigation led by CID Sgt. Weinmann into a male occupant of the residence suspected of possessing child pornography. Intelligence was gathered by the Texas Attorney General’s ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force team for which the FCSO and Sgt. Weinmann are members of.
During the search warrant, Sgt Weinmann interviewed the suspect and obtained a full confession of the allegations. Several electronic devices were seized from the residence and the investigation will continue with the analysis of those devices.
The suspect was arrested and charged with possessing over 50 images/videos of Child Pornography and is currently being held on $150,000 bond.
This case is still under investigation so no further information will be released by the FCSO at this time.
