On Sunday morning, May 26, 2024, around 6am, FCSO Deputies Miers and Aultman responded to the west side of the county on the report of a subject shooting at another subject.
Upon arrival, Deputies Miers and Aultman, with assistance from Constable McGowan and DPS Trooper Gray, discovered that 2 male subjects had been shot at by a female subject. One of the male victims being shot at had escaped into the woods.
Deputies detained 2 females at the residence on arrival in order to further investigate the report of a shooting.
The FCSO requested Teague VFD to assist in locating the male victim who had fled into the woods with the use of an aerial drone.
Sgt. Investigator Weinmann and Patrol Sgt. Darby were called in to assist with the investigation.
All subjects (2 males/2 females) were found to be uninjured. After speaking with the subjects on scene and finding supporting evidence such as several bullet holes in the exterior walls and several spent casings, 1 female subject was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Attempted Murder (F2).
Upon continuing the investigation at the scene, a total of 137 grams of liquid methamphetamine and 6 grams of crystal methamphetamine were located.
The second female subject was arrested and charged with Manufacturing/Delivery Controlled Substance PG1 >=4g<200g (F1). The initial female in custody received the same added charge.
Very dangerous situation that occurred with everyone on scene being very lucky that multiple lives weren’t lost.
