On 3-17-23, shortly after 5pm, the FCSO conducted an arrest and initiated a search warrant west of Teague based on an aggravated assault with a firearm complaint and a felon in possession of a firearm.
FCSO Sgt. Weinmann, Deputies Darby, Fogle, McAdams, and Dollar, with the assistance of Wortham PD, initiated contact with the male suspect upon arriving at the location. The male subject was immediately taken into custody on a warrant for Aggravated Assault w/ Deadly Weapon and the search warrant was served.
During the search and investigation, 9 firearms were located with 1 being confirmed stolen out of Teague at this time, 1 stolen truck from Fairfield was recovered, 1 stolen motor scooter out of Lacy Lakeview was recovered, 136 .7 grams of ecstasy / 66.9 grams of Methamphetamine / and 9 grams of Marijuana was found.
Items listed at this time are what this individual is currently receiving charges for. This is an on going investigation involving more property, and we will update any new information as we may uncover more.
The 1 male subject arrested has been charged with the following:
–9 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon – Felony
–Theft of a Firearm – Felony
–Manufacturing/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1 > 4 grams < 200 grams – Felony
–Manufacturing/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 2/2A > 4 grams < 400 grams – Felony
–Theft of Property > 30k < 150k – Felony
–Warrant – Aggravated Assault Dating/Family/House w/ Deadly Weapon
–Marijuana < 2 oz – MB
15 current charges and 14 are Felonies.

It’s always a good day when we can remove drugs from our street, remove firearms that are in the wrong hands, and recover stolen property.
