As part of our “school readiness” that our office has been doing the last couple months that includes meeting with all the school districts, going through safety guidelines, and gathering information, we added some of the best, most sought after training this week to put it all together.
The FCSO would like to thank Fairfield ISD and Fairfield’s School Resource Officers for sponsoring the training and allowing our county agencies the use of Fairfield High School. We would also like to say thank you to Pizza Hut who heard our county law enforcement was in training and provided lunch to the participants one day. And, a final thank you goes out to DPS for dedicating 4 days, 32 hrs, of “ALERRT” training to our local law enforcement in Freestone County. (Active Shooter Training)
The FCSO is committed to continuous training in different aspects of our profession. We believe in training tactically, technically, and mentally. We believe training improves our individual skills which translates to better service and protection to our communities.
We pray for the best, but prepare for the worse. Proud to work with our dedicated Deputies at the FCSO.
