Monday, June 13th, starting at 7pm, the 100th anniversary of our Freestone County Fair will kickoff. As usual, we begin our fair week with a parade that is set to start at 7pm sharp, immediately being followed with entertainment and festivities at our fairgrounds.

Every day – All day, June 13th-June 18th, there will be many folks participating and spectating in several shows from 8am-5pm and different events and festivities from 6pm-12am. This year is set to be one of our biggest and best years yet, thanks to our organizers, sponsors, and fair board. However, with that, we are expecting much larger crowds and traffic. It’s very important that we prepare to be more cautious when driving and walking around, while watching our children, and in paying attention to our surroundings and any suspicious persons or behavior.

We want everyone to have a fun and enjoyable time and your safety is a big part of that. Help us in insuring that everyone has a safe and rememberable week by staying aware and staying alert.

Law Enforcement, Fire Dept.’s, EMS, and city and county employees and officials will be present daily to assist anyone in need.
We want to wish all our county kiddos the best of luck with your chosen project(s) and we hope the memories made this year carry on for many, many years to come.
